Transit DC is an iPhone app intended to help people get around in the Washington DC metro area. The app is terrific on the Apple Watch as well!
It also runs on the iPad, but it behaves like the iPhone version. An enhanced version for the iPad is near the top of my things to do (see Pragmata).
