I have two uses for NameCatching:

First, I have a problem remembering people's names - for example, I go to a store a million times, I have met the owner and we've introduced each other. I promptly forget. If I scribble into NameCatching, I can write the name and our connection. Otherwise years can go by, we me being only able to say hi.

Second: NameCatching gives me the possibility to remember names from past jobs, schooling, such as high school friends, and more.

NameCatching is different than a contact manager, in that it focuses on remembering, rather than people you want to be in contact with. I might want to remember the name of a waiter in a favorite restaurant, without having a contact with him/her.
